Attacking and fixing the Microsoft Windows Kerberos login service

Abstract

This talk will describe a recently discovered vulnerability in the Kerberos implementation used on Microsoft Windows which enables an attacker to completely bypass authentication during a physical login inside a Windows domain.

We will also describe how the login service is implemented in the MIT Kerberos, and how their solution can be utilized to secure this delicate service on Microsoft systems.
