AFS Perl API - current state and future development

Abstract

The AFS module bundle is a dynamically loadable extension to Perl. It gives the AFS user and administrator access to many of the AFS programming APIs, allowing them to make these calls directly from Perl, rather then processing the output of a command.

This presentation will give an overview of the features of the 'AFS Perl API', and shows how to use the AFS modules to access and manipulate AFS data structures from Perl.
