Title
TSM backup client for AFS
Abstract
The TSM backup system in one of the more commonly used backup systems.
To use TSM for AFS backups there are at least two different ways of doing it -
one is to just store normal AFS dumps and the other is to use the AFS client from IBM.
Since using the former way will not make use of the TSM object handling functionality,
and the IBM client is not maintained anymore, we decided to write a TSM client for OpenAFS
that uses the TSM API calls for storing files and get the functionality that we need.
